Note*
- (1) Single Operator Categories: One person (the operator) performs all operating and logging functions during contest period.
- (2) Low Power: Total output power must not exceed 100 watts.
High Power: There is no limitation on total output power within the maximum allowable power level established by the national licensing authority issuing the operator and/or station license.
- (3) Single Operator Junior Category: The operator must be 19 years old or younger.
Single Operator Senior Category: The operator must be 70 years old or older.
- (4) Multi-Operator Single TX Category: Only one transmitted signal (run transmitter) on one band is permitted. As an exception, one - and only one - other transmitted signal (multiplier transmitter) may be used if - and only if – it is on a different band from the run transmitter and the station worked is a new multiplier.
The run and multiplier transmitters are governed by independent 10-minute rules (same as CQ WW 10-minute rules). The 10-minute rule means that when a station changes bands, it must stay on the same band for at least 10 minutes after the first QSO on a band.
- (5) Multi-Operator Categories: All transmitters and receivers of the station must be located within a circle of 500-meter diameter circle.
- (6) Single Operator All-Band 24-hour Category: Only the first 24 hours of operational time is eligible for scoring. Any continuous period of 60 minutes or more during which no QSO is logged is considered as off-time, and off-time is not counted as operational time. If the log shows more than 24 hours of operation, only the first 24 hours of operational time will be counted for the score.
4. CQing (Example)
- (1) CW ........... "CQ AA"
- (2) Phone........ "CQ AA Contest"
5. EXCHANGE

- (2) Multi-Operator stations:
RS(T) report plus average age of operators at the start of the contest. If the Operators do not want to send their average age, RS(T)report plus "01" (zero one) can be sent.
