Hams Around The World
There are about 2.7 million amateur radio stations in the world. This figure only represents the number of stations which are actually in operation.
By the sheer number of people who enjoy communicating with each other via amateur radio, we can see that amateur radio is an attractive hobby. It is no exaggeration to say that there is an amateur radio station in virtually every part of the world, the only exceptions being uninhabited regions.
